Para el próximo martes 27 de marzo entre las 15:00 y 18:00 hrs., el Programa UACh Vive Saludable Ok – dependiente de la Dirección de Asuntos Estudiantiles – en conjunto con la Federación de Estudiantes de la Universidad Austral de Chile, ha organizado en el marco de la Semana Mechona 2012 una “Maratón Solidaria”.
Esta actividad, incorporada además dentro de las bases del concurso “Mechoneo en Buena 2012”, tiene por objetivo incentivar la participación de los y las estudiantes en actividades de acción social que vayan en ayuda de instituciones locales, las cuales a su vez trabajan por el bienestar de personas que viven en situación de pobreza, enfermedad, abandono y/o soledad, todas características que configuran una vida frágil, de particular esfuerzo y altamente vulnerable.
Entre las bases de la actividad, cada alianza deberá ser apadrinada por dos académicos de las escuelas asociadas, que se ofrezcan voluntariamente a colaborar con sus estudiantes en la organización de la campaña orientada a reunir insumos de primera necesidad solicitados por la Institución beneficiaria.
El día miércoles 28 de marzo cada alianza deberá organizar una visita a la entidad apadrinada, para lo cual se deberá coordinar previamente con el representante de la Institución beneficiada. Para efectos de movilización y organización de dicha actividad, la alianza dispondrá de $50.000. (VER TODAS LAS BASES Y ALIANZAS EN ARCHIVOS AL COSTADO DERECHO DE LA NOTICIA)
