<p>Con un marco de público entre los que se contaban estudiantes, escuelas de danza de Puerto Montt y Puerto Varas y amantes del ballet, el elenco de danza de la Corporación Cultural de la I. Municipalidad de Antofagasta realizó su última presentación en el sur del país invitados por la Universidad Austral de Chile.</p><p>Luego de una exitosa presentación en Valdivia de la Región de los Ríos, el Ballet de la Corporación Cultural de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Antofagasta se presentó la noche del viernes en el Teatro Municipal Diego Rivera de Puerto Montt, donde mostraron su espectáculo en una presentación organizada por el Campus Puerto Montt de la Universidad Austral de Chile.</p><p>Invitados por la Dirección de Extensión de la UACh, el ballet llegó hasta la capital de la región de Los Lagos para brindar un espectáculo que recorrió distintos estilos de danza, permitiendo que los asistentes disfrutaran de un muestra variada que incluyó desde danza clásica, bailes españoles y árabes hasta merengue, además de tradicionales piezas con música de Tchaikovsky de ballet clásico.</p><p>María Eugenia Candia, Directora del Ballet de Antofagasta, señaló sentirse satisfecha por el recibimiento que tuvieron en estas dos ciudades, sobre todo el de los estudiantes de la UACh, quienes, a juicio de la bailarina, demostraron estar muy interesados en asistir y participar de todo tipo de manifestaciones artísticas. "El público de Valdivia y Puerto Montt resultó ser muy exigente, lo que además demuestra que es un público acostumbrado a espectáculos culturales de primer nivel, por lo que venir hasta acá a mostrar nuestro arte es también un desafío para nosotros", señaló.</p><p>El Prorrector y Rector (S) de la Universidad Austral de Chile, Juan Omar Cofré Lagos, valoró que la casa de estudios realice este tipo de espectáculos, pues contribuye al desarrollo integral de la universidad. "La presencia del Ballet de Antofagasta es nuestra universidad viene a confirmar nuestro deseo de no sólo brindar una formación académica a nuestros estudiantes, sino que además contribuir al desarrollo cultural de las ciudades en las que está presente la Universidad Austral de Chile", enfatizó.</p><p>La autoridad académica valoró además, que un importante grupo de danza como el Ballet de la Corporación Cultural de Antofagasta aceptara la invitación de la UACh para ofrecer su danza en ciudades tan lejanas a su región, como Valdivia y Puerto Montt.</p>
