El curso «Fragmentarismo e imagen del mundo: historia, montaje e imagen fílmica» consiste en un recorrido metodológico que parte de los orígenes de la imagen fragmentaria como elemento fundamental del arte moderno y de la percepción contemporánea partiendo de los acontecimientos históricos que han marcado la configuración del arte moderno de la literatura y la pintura de vanguardia al cine. Así pues, atenderá a los principales autores y títulos de la teoría cinematográfica general que consideran el montaje como un elemento esencial de la constitución de la gramática cinematográfica.

El curso es un optativo en modalidad intensiva que se dicta desde el magíster en Comunicación, pero les recordamos que las asignaturas electivas pueden ser cursadas por estudiantes de todos los programas de la Escuela de Graduados de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la Universidad Austral de Chile.

Reseña Biográfica
Luis Veres (Valencia, 1968) es doctor en Filología Hispánica y licenciado en las especialidades de Lengua Española, Literatura Española y Filología Valenciana.
Ha sido profesor invitado en universidades de Perú, Polonia, Austria, Francia, Italia y Holanda. Desde 1996 y hasta el 2009 fue profesor de Teoría del Lenguaje y Crítica Literaria en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU (Valencia).
Actualmente se desempeña como profesor titular de la Universidad de Valencia (España)
Es autor de las novelas El hombre que tuvo una ciudad y El cielo de cemento (Premio Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, 1999) y de los ensayos, La narrativa del indio en la revista Amauta, (Universidad de Valencia-2001) y Periodismo y literatura de vanguardia en América Latina (Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU, 2003), y de otros artículos y colaboraciones en libros.
En 2002 ganó el Premio Internacional de Ensayo Juan Gil-Albert.
